Spotlight on Cincinnati designers at CODE event

DOWNTOWN CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati Open Design Event or CODE is a collaboration between Mitchell's Salon and Spa, Ionic Collective, Navarro Photography and Amy Kirchen Boutique.
The CODE Cincinnati open design event is being held October 17 - 20 at Music Hall. The four day event will feature 15 designers, design awards, health and beauty education, workshops and more.

The Main Library hosts the Taft Museum of Art as it celebrates 80 years of art

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County is hosting Nancy Huth, the Taft Museum of Art’s curator of education, as she presents a series of illustrated talks at the Main Library, 800 Vine St.

Huth’s talks will showcase the fascinating history, art, and families of the Taft Museum of Art. All of the events are being held in the Main Library’s Reading Garden Lounge on Tuesdays at 7 p.m.

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati natives and accessory designers Katie Conley and Valerie Eidson, have introduced a new and exciting addition to the fashion industry.

The "Necklina" is the first creation out of their new fashion line, KaVatee.

What does “KaVatee” mean?  The “Ka” is for Katie Conley, the “Va” is for Valerie Edison, and the “tee” represents their LOVE of tee shirt-soft fabrics.

Cincy Fringe Festival Upcoming

CINCINNATI, OH(FOX 19)-Cincinnati modern dance company MamLuft&Co. Dance was recently accepted into the Cincy Fringe Festival, A Know Theatre production, to premiere a contemporary, athletic evening in three sections.  The company will perform at 8:15pm on the evening of Wednesday, June 1, as well as 7:00pm on the evenings of Friday, June 3; Tuesday, June 7; Thursday, June 9; and Friday, June 10.  Festival tickets are $12 for single shows; six-show "Voyeur Passes" are available for $60; a full-access pass for $200 - all tickets available at cincyfringe.com or (513) 300-KNOW (5660).  S / M / L (as in, "Small/Medium/Large") explores size and scale from completely different perspectives, choreographed by guests, Michelle Morano and Susan Honer, and company director Jeanne Mam-Luft.  The piece explores perception, identity, and cooperation.
