CINCINNATI (FOX19) — The Echo Restaurant in Hyde Park is supporting CityLink Center today through October 30 with CityLink Week, a week of fundraising and awareness building for CityLink’s programming and its new facility in the West End.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Last week the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra announced it is releasing the five fanfares commissioned last season as free digital downloads on the CSO website over the coming weeks. This week, the CSO is announcing that these releases coincide with the release of the Orchestra’s second recording on its label, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Media.

Baltic Portraits features music of contemporary composers hailing from the Baltic region of Europe including Arvo Pärt, Aulis Sallinen, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Lepo Sumera and Erkki-Sven Tüür. The Orchestra recorded these works under the direction of Maestro Paavo Järvi, who concluded his immensely successful decade-long tenure as Music Director at the end of the 2010-11 season.
