Have a donut on Valentine's Day... it's free

(FOX19) - Every Busken Bakery, Remke-Biggs, and Cincinnati/Dayton United Dairy Farmers will be giving away one free Lite Hearted Donu on Valentine's Day  to every customer while supplies last.

The Lite-Hearted Donu is a heart-shaped glazed donut targeted to calorie-counting consumers. Each donut contains just 140 calories, 2.5 grams of fat, and zero trans fat and zero saturated fat.

“This year we're giving our hearts to the Queen City,” commented Busken Bakery president, Dan Busken. “As it turns out, our hearts are sweet, low calorie, and romantically guilt-free.” 

This will be the largest giveaway in the company’s history, as the combined forces of over 150 stores hands out thousands of free donuts to customers around the city.

The Lite-Hearted Donut™ will be available at all 10 Busken Bakery locations, 135 United Dairy Farmers, and 13 Remke-Bigg’s.

Reds team shop to close for remodeling

Reds team shop to close for remodeling

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Cincinnati Reds and retail partner Delaware North Sportservice will temporarily close the Reds Team Shop by Majestic at Great American Ball Park on December 22 for a major remodeling.

The store is being updated and redesigned to enhance the fan shopping experience. The last shopping day will be Saturday, December 22. Daily hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Team Shop will reopen to the public in February.

Any purchases made at the Reds Team Shop in December can be returned or exchanged through March 15.

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Thinking of buying an eReader or tablet for the book lover on your holiday shopping list? Now's a great time to buy! Prices are dropping and lots of new devices have hit the market. 

But when it comes to picking the right device, the choices can be overwhelming. That’s why the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County is holding a series of eReader “Petting Zoo” programs at select branches.

Stop by and try out an iPad, Nook Tablet and Kindle Fire and learn more about the Library’s downloadable books and music. Staff members will be available to answer your questions.

Celebrate the season on Metro's Holly Jolly Downtown Trolley

CINCINNATI,OH (FOX19)  — Metro’s Holly Jolly Downtown Trolley showcases the seasonal magic of downtown Cincinnati through the windows of an old-style trolley.

Two decorated trolleys provide shuttle service in the heart of downtown. The FREE rides are available on Friday, Nov. 23 and Saturdays, Nov. 24 - Dec. 22, from noon - 5 p.m.

Trolley service runs about every five minutes.  You can board in front of the Westin on Fifth Street or at designated Holly Jolly Downtown Trolley stops on Fifth Street and Fourth Street.

Duke Energy Center welcomes 2012 Holiday Market

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -The holiday season is underway at the Duke Energy Center.

Doors open for the 2012 Greater Cincinnati Holiday Market at 10 a.m. on Friday.

More than 200 one-of-a-kind boutiques and speciality stores will offer a wide range of gourmet food, home decor, specialty clothing and more.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Admission for adults is $8, but adults can save $3 by purchasing a ticket at any Cincinnati-area Kroger locations. When accompanied by a paying adult, children (ages 13 and under) are free.
