Cadillac Ranch to become "Cincy's on Sixth" | Restaurants
CINCINNATI, (FOX19) - The new owners of the Cadillac Ranch in Downtown have renamed the restaurant/bar. The new name is "Cincy's on Sixth". The partners of Restaurant Entertainment of Cincinnati, Jim Henning and Larry Couchot, had previously said they would change the name.
That's not the only change that is planned. Though the restaurant will continue to be targeted to the same general market, the owners say it’s a whole new restaurant, with new offerings and a new atmosphere.
They describe is a “Modern American Grill” with "a delicious, contemporary take on upscale comfort food for restaurant-goers, while keeping true to Cincinnati’s very essence and core...progress." The partners say the iconic blue Cadillac, will be taken down to create a new feel for Cincy’s. They also says the mechanical bull "will be set free to greener pastures."
The Cadillac Ranch was part of a small chain that appeared to be having financial troubles. The name remains with locations in other cities that weren't sold. The new owners of Cincy's on Sixth say more information on the changes will be released over the next few weeks on their Facebook page.
