Grand opening for newest Mio's Pizzeria located on Short Vine | Restaurants
CORRYVILLE, OH (FOX19) - Local pizza franchise restaurant Mio's is adding to the revival happening on Short Vine in Corryville.
A ribbon-cutting and deep-dish pizza slicing is planned for Thursday, March 28 at 10am at the location near the University of Cincinnati campus.
The 2,200-square-foot restaurant has seating for 60 and serves both Chicago deep-dish style and New York-style pizza. Owners owners Carter and Kelli Gagen will be joined by UC President Santa Ono along with members of Uptown Consortium and the Short Vine Business Association, residents and community for the grand opening ceremony.
Mio's Pizzeria is the latest restaurant to open on Short Vine, in keeping with the trend of Short Vine's revival. Short Vine has seen more than $100 million in improvements in a five-year period and was named the city's seventh community entertainment district in January 2013.
