Job fair for local veterans held at PBS | News
CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19)- A job fair was held for local veterans at Paul Brown Stadium on Thursday.
Employers, including General Electric and other local companies, were recruiting today. The job fair helps match service men and women with employers who are looking for the unique skills that veterans can bring to the workforce.
"We point them in the right direction based on their skill sets," said Robert Walker of RecruitMilitary. He also said he tells the veterans they're more valuable than they think and that the employers are there because they want to hire them.
More than 300 veterans attended the job fair.
