'Music of Change' exhibit opening at Freedom Center | News
CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19)- Music of Change: Hymns, Blues, and Rock, a new exhibit at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, is opening Saturday June 23.
The exhibit challenges and inspires visitors to recognize music's power and see, hear and feel a continuum of music genres that echoed American experiences, elicited responses and changed perspectives.
Music of Change runs until Sept.22 and features many events over the next two months including poetry slam, block parties, and "Open Sundays" with positive message music.
The creation of the exhibit was a student-led graduate project under the supervision of the Freedom Center's exhibition department.
