Maualuga assault case heading to mediation | News
CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19)- Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga and a bar manager he's accused of punching have agreed to mediation.
Maualuga is facing misdemeanor assault for allegedly punching Luxe general manager Sammy Laham last month.
During a court appearance Thursday morning, Judge Heather Russell sent Maualuga and Laham to mediation and told them to work out their differences. The case will be back in court on April 26.
Should mediation not work out, court proceedings will continue. If mediation does work out, the case will be dropped.
