CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19)- The bus driver cited for hitting a local news van during a press conference was in court Friday.

Joann Searless, 48, a driver for GoBus plead not guilty in a Hamilton County courtroom Friday morning.

Searless was cited for improper change of course. Lakefront Lines also suspended her without pay until the investigation is concluded.

Searless hit a news van outside the Greyhound bus station one week ago during a press conference on the Horseshoe Casino collapse.

She then got out of the bus and yelled at those who were gathered at the press conference for not getting out of the way.

Searless has a trial date scheduled for Feb. 21.
