As part of the $92 million that the City of Cincinnati could get from a public-private partnership to overhaul the city's parking system, a 30 story building is being proposed.
The building would be located at 4th and Race, the current location for Pogue's Garage, and feature 300 luxury apartments, 1,000 parking spaces (590 public) and a 15,000 square foot grocery store.
Cincinnati City Manager Milton Dohoney proposed the plan to the Budget and Finance Committee on Tuesday afternoon. He did not specify which grocery store would be coming downtown.
In this proposal, the city would get $92 million up front and $3 million in payments each year.
