6-year-old author reads her book to other students | News
SOUTH AVONDALE, OH (FOX19)- A 6-year-old author read got to read her book aloud to students on Thursday morning.
Lauryn Marie Burks wrote My 100 Hands when she was just 5-years-old. The book is a product of Lauryn's vivid imagination, creative thoughts and language translated on paper by her mom and dad.
The book is intended for children ages three to eight. Lauryn read the book aloud to teachers and classmates at South Avondale Elementary.
Lauryn attends kindergarten at Mason Early Childhood Center and is already creating her second book.
