Benefit held to support victim of University Hts. house fire | News
CLIFTON, OH (FOX19)- A benefit was held on Wednesday for a University of Cincinnati student killed in a New Year's Day house fire.
Ellen Garner, 20, passed away on Monday after the fire in University Heights.
The Buffalo Wild Wings locations in Clifton, Anderson and her hometown of Troy, Ohio donated 10% of all proceeds on Wednesday to help pay for Garner's medical expenses.
Friends and family turned out to the restaurant to honor her memory.
Another victim in the house, Chad Kohls, passed away a few days earlier.
Garner will be laid to rest on Friday.
