Cincinnati's First Corealign pilates studio to open in OTR

OVER-THE-RHINE, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati’s first Corealign Pilates studio is the latest new business to open its doors in the Gateway Quarter of Over-the-Rhine. Core: A Movement Studio will officially open to the public on Monday, September 17 in the Parvis Building on Vine Street.

Core: A Movement Studio joins seven other businesses in the 15,700 square feet of commercial space that make up the ground floor of Parvis Lofts, a fully-leased 32-unit apartment building on Vine Street. Those include Mannequin, The Brandery, Kathy Hamm Studio, the Gateway Quarter Sales Office, We Have Become Vikings, Pet Wants, and Reser Bicycle Outfitters. The Paint Building across from Parvis will soon house Kaze, a Japanese restaurant and whiskey bar by John Zipperstein who owns Embers in Kenwood. Only three commercial spaces totaling 3,500 square feet remain available at Parvis.

Core’s owner, Cydney Rabe, has lived in Over-the-Rhine for over a decade. She is thrilled to pursue her passion in the same neighborhood she calls home.  “I want to be a part of the wonderful change that I’m seeing,” she says.

The state-of-the-art fitness boutique will offer six different equipment classes and two group-oriented classes. Each can be purchased individually, or in sets of five, ten or twenty. All courses are designed to improve posture, increase muscle awareness and aid in shedding unwanted pounds. Groups are limited to four participants per class.

Registration is now open and classes are scheduled to begin Monday morning. For more information or to register for classes, visit www.corecincinnati.com.
