The 2013 Kids’ Safety Fair is happening Tuesday, May 21st at Yeatman’s cove from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Cincinnati Fire Department and State Farm Insurance along with several other Fire and Police departments.
Children will be educated on fire safety, the hazard of carbon monoxide, water safety and bike safety. State Farm is handing out finger print child ID books as well. Students will explore the Safety Awareness & Fire Education (S.A.F.E.) House, watch puppet shows, see clowns, and tour various safety vehicles throughout the day.
“We are delighted to partner with State Farm Insurance – whose sponsorship has enabled the Cincinnati Fire Department to bring this event to Cincinnati. This type of direct safety education to children is critical to our mission,” stated Fire Chief Richard Braun.
