Ain't Misbehavin - The Fats Waller Musical

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Join The Cincinnati Black Theatre Company as they transport you back in time to an era where Music was a way of Life! CBTC proudly presents the 1978 Tony Award winning musical and Tony Award winner for Best Actress Feature in a musical, Ain't Misbehavin' at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in the Harriet Tubman Theater!

At the height of the historic Harlem Renaissance, venues like The Cotton Club were jumpin' to a new beat called "swing." Ain't Misbehavin' is a rollicking, finger-snapping, toe-tapping, musical revue - a tribute to the black entertainers of the early 1900's that centers on the music of one of the most prolific musicians of the time, Thomas "Fats" Waller. The Cincinnati Black Theatre's Adult Ensemble transports audiences through song and dance to a time where music made everything "better".
