The Eisele Gallery will host Beverly Erschell’s book signing and exhibition of her original paintings for the “The Lucky Greyhound,” a new picture book.
The signing is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 14. The exhibition runs through Feb. 1.
“The Lucky Greyhound” is the story of Maple, a bred-to-race greyhound who wasn’t cut out for the track. Maple is adopted, first by a veterinarian and then by Erschell, an artist.
Written and illustrated by Ershcell, “The Lucky Greyhound” features more than 30 of her original artwork created for this book. Many of the originals will be on display at the Eisele Gallery, 5729 Dragon Way, Fairfax.
Erschell’s paintings are in permanent collections of the Cincinnati Art Museum and numerous permanent collections.
The opening reception and exhibition and book signing at the Eisele Gallery are free.
