CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19)  – Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky public transit system employees will face off in a basketball game to benefit Everybody Rides Metro and Welcome House of Northern Kentucky on Saturday, February 26 at the Cincinnati State Gymnasium. Doors open to public at 6:30 p.m., tip-off will be at 7 p.m.

Everybody Rides Metro is the first foundation in the nation to be formed by a regional transit authority. It has provided over one million tokens to low-income individuals in its first 28 months of operation.

Metro CEO & General Manager Terry Garcia Crews and TANK General Manager Andrew Aiello will be their respective teams’ honorary coaches.

The game will be announced by former ESPN reporter Betsy Ross, and will feature a “split the pot” raffle and other prizes. Admission to the game is a suggested $2 donation at the door. Free parking is available in the Ludlow Garage. Attendees have the option to sponsor an individual player or team. Concessions and free face painting will be available.

The event is sponsored by Attorney J. Thomas Hodges, Veolia Transportation and an anonymous donor.
