The Cincinnati Celtic Festival this weekend on Fountain Square | Events

For the second year in a row, The Cincinnati Celtic Festival will be held on Fountain Square. The 19th annual celebration is Friday, September 23 from 5pm to 10pm, Saturday, September 24 from noon to 10pm and Sunday, September 25, Noon to 8pm.
This free event, presented by the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick Foundation, will feature live Celtic music and Celtic dancers. Celtic vendors will offer a range of merchandise and a variety of food options. Claddagh, Happ’s, and Molly Malone’s will be on site selling fish and chips, bread pudding, Irish Nachos, and more!
On Sunday at 2:30pm, up to 15 contestants will compete in a corned beef and cabbage eating contest, the one with the best time wins a prize valued at $100. Walk-up contestants are welcome. Make sure to register by 2:15pm at the main stage the contest.
