Police chief holds “meet and greet” Wednesday evening for new advisory board

CINCINNATI (FOX19) – The Cincinnati Police announced Wednesday that Police Chief James E. Craig will hold a “meet and greet” session Wednesday evening (March 14) from 6:30 to 8 p.m. to outline the mission and function of the Chief’s Advisory Board for those who have expressed interest in serving as members.

The Advisory Board will provide input for Chief Craig on issues and concerns, and will help to identify both short and long term goals, mobilize community resources, promote Department initiatives and enhance public safety.  Members will be drawn from all areas of community involvement, from grassroots activists to business and professional leaders.

The Police Department says the Chief’s Advisory Board will aid in fostering meaningful and productive police/community partnerships and providing the information necessary for the Cincinnati Police Department to better serve those in our community.

The meeting will be at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, 50 East Freedom Way
