“We are excited to see the expertise that Ms. Norris brings put to work here in the Gaslight District,” said Gina Marsh, President of Clifton 20/20. “The Gaslight District is on the brink of bold and positive change, which includes the return of a grocery store to Ludlow Avenue.  The timing is excellent for this initiative.”

Board hearing on Monday to save Lenhardt’s/Goetz House from demolition

CLIFTON, OH (FOX19) - The CUF Neighborhood Association (CUFNA) has applied for a Local Historic Landmark and Historic Site Designation for the Goetz House.

Christian Moerlein gifted the house at 151 W. McMillan to his daughter and son-in-law, Lizzie and John Goetz in 1891. It is one of several homes built by the Christian Moerlein family in Clifton Heights.

Recently, the owners of the house have announced an agreement with a developer who intends to demolish the house to build additional student housing.

The hearing before the City of Cincinnati Historic Conservation Board is  Monday, March 25 at 3pm in Centennial Plaza Two, 805 Central Avenue, Suite 720.
