Do the Ellen dance at the Cincinnati Cyclones game

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -- Cyclones fans are encouraged to dance like Ellen during their Throwback Night on Saturday.

On November 13, The back-to-back Kelly Cup champions are facing Gwinnett Gladiators at 7:30pm at US Bank Arena. The first 10,000 fans will get a schedule poster.

The Cyclones will wear retro jerseys that fans will be able to buy at auction after the game. Fans are also encouraged to "Do the Ellen" dance during intermission with Human Puppet.

The Cyclones are offering $1 John Morrell hot dogs, Donatos pizza, and soda at the concession stands.

Bengals on Monday Night Football

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The last place Cincinnati Bengals are in the national spotlight tonight as they play host to the second place Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football. 

Tonight's game at 8:30 is drawing a lot of national attention.  

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell plans to tailgate tonight in Lot E at Paul Brown Stadium to meet with fans, answer their questions and hear what is on their minds.

Goodell will begin tailgating at 5 p.m.

Kroger workers approve new contract

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Over 12,000 Kroger employees have approved a new contract with the company.

Members of the UFCW Local 75 ratified a new 3-year agreement and approved it by over 70 percent. The contract includes compensation increases, benefit improvements and additional pension contributions.

"We are pleased to have a contract that reflects the efforts of these hometown workers," said Lennie Wyatt, President of Local 75.

Modern streetcar on display at Fountain Square

CINCINNATI,  OH (FOX19) - A modern streetcar is on display this weekend as some city leaders push the project full force.

The streetcar will be on display at Fountain Square through Wednesday.

The public is invited to see it up close and actually get inside.

Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory says it will give people a chance to visualize what Cincinnati's streetcar will look like in 2013, when the project is underway.

The first phase of the street car is expected to run from The Banks to the University of Cincinnati.

Thanksgiving on the Ohio Frontier

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - See what life was like over 200 years ago with historical reenactments during Thanksgiving on the Ohio Frontier at Shawnee Lookout on Saturday, November 13 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Interpreters with the Society of Northwest Longhunters will reenact the first Thanksgiving between early European settlers, Shawnee Native Americans and military personnel.  Special exchanges between settler and Native Americans occur at the top of each hour and samples of period fare will be available for tasting from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. inside the Shawnee Lookout Log Cabin.  

This program is free and open to the public.  Shawnee Lookout is located at 2008 Lawrenceburg Road in Miami Township.  A valid Hamilton County Park District Motor Vehicle Permit ($10.00 annual; $2.00 daily) is required to enter the parks.  For additional information, please visit GreatParks.org or call (513) 521-PARK (7275).
